GUEST CAN NOW ENJOY A MOKORO TRIP DOWN THE CHOBE RIVER
Situated within the Chobe Forest Reserve with panoramic views overlooking the Chobe River and Floodplain. Each of the lodge’s 8 river-facing suites offers quiet refuge in a luxurious setting, with an emphasis on space and comfort as well as a private outdoor living area with a ‘refresh and relax’ pool.

The Mokoro Trip is a first on the Chobe River. With the Chobe area forever changing in concert with the seasons and the river level, creating new, interesting and exciting activity options truly enhances the overall guest experience.

The relaxing Mokoro activity offers a particularly rewarding birding experience, taking guests 3 to 4 kilometres along the Chobe River and back.

A CRUISE ON THE CHOBE RIVER
Ngoma Safari Lodge has completed the Jetty at Ihaha and it is in operation. The game viewing from the boat brings its own unique experience and this is the best hidden secret in the Chobe National Park.

This new activity started earlier this year, and as Ross Kennedy, chief executive of Africa Albida Tourism (the hospitality group operating Ngoma Safari Lodge), says, it allows for a variety of cruise options to be offered.

“This includes birding trips, early morning, lunch and afternoon trips, with meals served on board, and flexibility to meet guests’ preferences depending on their length of stay,” Mr Kennedy says.

“It also means guests may enjoy a game drive through the Chobe National Park before or after the cruise, so experiencing the wildlife from both river and land,” he adds.
